Quick overview:
London, 1794. Lucius Cane, a peculiar vampire, comes upon an opponent the likes of which he has never seen before - a brute with remarkable abilities. But not all is as it seems as their encounter unfolds in a manner that neither of them expected.

Personal opinion on the book:
This book was a short story, so there wasn't too long spent on character development. But I did find that this book was quite good in the way that it used the different POV's(*) to assist in the progression of the story line. I really liked the semi-werewolf character and found that it was a really cool show-down.
Overall, although this book was quite interesting, in the end it is a short story and have pretty good development. Not my favorite story, but lots of other reader will ENJOY THIS BOOK!

Star rating (out of 5):
I give this book a star rating of 2.8/5 stars
