Personal opinion on the book:
This book was fantastic, I really loved the progression of the story. With books like this, they are typically focused wholly around one character and that one character has all of the great magical powers, but this book has everyone having magic (obviously the main character is the most powerful). I found that I was a jumper of ships while I was reading this book. I really liked the character relations.
My main worries were when Ava _____ and _____ was killed... Haha, I guess if you want to find out what happened, and fill in the blanks yourself you will have to read the book!

Books in the series:

  1. Darkness Brutal
  2. Darkness Fair
  3. Darkness Savage

If you like... then try...:
If you like this book, I recommend reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. Both of these books are other-worldly and have some really great twists and magic in them.

Star rating (out of 5):
I give this book a star rating of 3.5/5 stars. I really liked this book, the story line was completely unique and had some great plot twists. My only dislike was how long it was, yes, the book needed to be this long to get all of it's awesome content written down. But I found that at times I wished the book was a little more compressed.
